Day 1 / Arrive Victoria

On arrival in Victoria, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax in your room before meeting your fellow travellers at a Welcome Dinner. Accommodation: Two Nights: Vancouver Island, Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa Meals: Dinner

Day 2 / Victoria, The Butchart Gardens

Day 3 / Victoria, Georgia Strait, Whistler

Make a brief stop in Chemainus before riding the ferry across Georgia Strait. Treasure the scenery as you travel north along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway, passing Shannon Falls before arriving at Whistler. Day 4 / Whistler

Step out and discover the famous alpine landscapes of Whistler as you choose from a number of activities. Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 / Whistler, Sun Peaks

Bid farewell to Whistler after breakfast this morning and travel through the lush Coast Mountains as you follow the historic tracks of the early gold rush pioneers through the Cariboo region. Make a stop at both Duffey and Seton lakes, travel via the remote rural town of Lillooet, then arrive in Sun Peaks. Canada's second largest ski area, this lovely village is set beneath three famous summits. Accommodation: Sun Peaks Grand Hotel Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 6 / Sun Peaks, Blue River, Mt Robson, Jasper

Afterwards, join the Yellowhead Highway and before crossing into Alberta, stop to take in views of the south face of Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies. Today's journey concludes on arrival at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, in the heart of beautiful Jasper National Park. Day 7 / Jasper

Are you ready to be acquainted with the World Heritage-listed landscapes of Jasper National Park? You've then time to relax before tonight's activity - a stylish alfresco dining experience set for you by the tranquil shores of Trefoil Lake. Relax in this memorable setting and absorb the beautiful rhythms of a group of First Nations performers while chefs transform the freshest regional produce into a gourmet barbecue dinner to savour. Day 8 / Jasper, Athabasca Glacier, Lake Louise

Join the renowned Icefields Parkway and wind through the majestic scenery of the Canadian Rockies. After pausing to take in Maligne Canyon and Athabasca Falls, stop at the Columbia Icefield. Here, you’ll board a specially designed Ice Explorer vehicle and journey right onto the surface of Athabasca Glacier. Later, in Banff National Park, admire Peyto Lake before continuing on to The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise where you'll be treated to views of Lake Louise's impossibly blue waters from your room. Day 9 / Lake Louise, Moraine Lake

Today's excursion takes you into the World Heritage-listed landscapes of Banff National Park. First, you'll travel to Moraine Lake and discover that this glacier-carved wonder is just as photogenic as the 'Jewel of the Rockies', Lake Louise. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 10 / Lake Louise, Banff

The morning takes you along the Trans-Canada Highway to Banff. On a tour of the town, look for the 'Rocky Mountain' style heritage buildings which feature locally sourced natural materials. You can't visit Banff without a ride on the Banff Gondola, which whisks you to the top of Sulphur Mountain for panoramic views out over six mountain ranges. Day 12 / Banff

World Heritage-listed Banff National Park is without a doubt one of the most incredible locations of Canada's Rocky Mountains. While it is best known as a winter playground, the warmer months give way to endless sweeps of lush, green landscapes. As the snow begins to melt, tumbles of crystal-clear water rushes into lakes and streams, hiking trails through pine forests and along mountainsides are unveiled, and bears awaken from their winter slumber. Rising to a full day at leisure here, there are virtually endless opportunities for both relaxation and adventure. How will you spend your free time in one of the most naturally beautiful locations on Earth? Your APT Tour Director will be on hand should you need any inspiration. Meals: Breakfast

Day 13 / Banff, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops

Board the Rocky Mountaineer and relax in your GoldLeaf carriage. Traverse Kicking Horse Pass, which takes you across the Continental Divide of the Americas. Travel through the Spiral Tunnels, along the South Thompson River and past Shuswap Lake to the city of Kamloops. Accommodation: Kamloops, hotel as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer (Kamloops has limited accommodation - two or three-star hotels) Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 14 / Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver

Your Rocky Mountaineer rail journey continues this morning. Sit back and relax as you glide past steep rocky slopes as your train follows the Thompson River. Pass the thundering waters of Hell’s Gate in Fraser Canyon and admire the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains as you travel to Vancouver. Settle in and enjoy leisure time upon arrival at your hotel. Accommodation: Two Nights: Vancouver, The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 15 / Vancouver

Step out for a sightseeing tour of Vancouver that will introduce you to the city’s must-see attractions. Visit Stanley Park, a world-class, 400-hectare evergreen oasis located just steps away from downtown Vancouver. Then head to Granville Island, the bustling heart of Vancouver’s cultural scene. Here, wander amid the colourful public market. You’ll also see picturesque English Bay and Vancouver Harbour, before enjoying the afternoon and evening to spend at your leisure. Perhaps wander through the old cobblestone streets of Gastown, whilst others may prefer to visit the shopping mecca of Robson Street. As the land portion of your journey draws to an end, get together with your fellow travellers and Tour Director during a special dinner. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 16 / Vancouver, Embark Ship

Greet your ship at Vancouver Harbour and settle in for your unforgettable Inside Passage Cruise. Accommodation: Seven Nights: Holland America Line’s ms Nieuw Amsterdam in a Verandah Stateroom Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 17 / Cruise the Inside Passage

Enjoy a full day at sea as your ship cruises along coastal British Columbia and the Alaska Panhandle. Glide past rocky headlands and over the icy waters of the Inside Passage, one of the most picturesque sea lanes in the world, and one of the few where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 18 / Tracy Arm, Juneau

Today you will cruise to the entrance of Tracy Arm, a twisting and narrow fjord. Continue to Alaska’s capital, Juneau, set at the foot of the majestic Coast Mountains on the Gastineau Channel. Here, you may explore at leisure, or set off on one of the exciting excursions available to you (own expense). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 19 / Skagway

Reach the Inside Passage’s northernmost point, Skagway. Once a gateway city for the Klondike Gold Rush, Skagway’s frontier-style atmosphere remains evident today. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 20 / Glacier Bay National Park

Draw back your curtains to World Heritage-listed Glacier Bay National Park, with its rivers of ice and skyscraping peaks. As you cruise you’ll benefit from commentary from local rangers who have come aboard your ship. Keep watch for whales, which are known to grace these waters frequently, as well as harbor seals and sea otters bobbing above the water. Look up as you may even spot bald eagles circling overhead. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 21 / Ketchikan

A cheerful town set on the shores of the Tongass Narrows, Ketchikan and its surrounds present a range of attractions, including Misty Fjords National Monument - one of America’s largest wilderness areas, with glacial valleys and frosted peaks where wildlife roam in abundance. Disembark and spend the day exploring as you please. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 22 / The Inside Passage

Heading south through the Inside Passage, this is your last chance to enjoy the glorious landscapes as you advance closer to Vancouver. Perhaps you'll spend some time above deck, hoping to capture one last glimpse of wildlife, or relax and make use of the amenities on board your ship. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 23 / Disembark Ship, Depart Vancouver

Disembark your ship on arrival in Vancouver and transfer to the airport. Meals: Breakfast
