Waikiki Beach

Translated as "spouting waters," Waikiki Beach is the quintessential spot on the South Shore of Oahu. With views of Diamond Head and calm, clear water, Waikiki Beach is home to a multitude of hotels and resorts — all just steps away. Shopping, fine dining and surf lessons are the order of the day as tourists mingle with the locals on the iconic beach.

Pearl Harbor

Named for the natural pearls once harvested in the largest harbor in Hawaii, Pearl Harbor in Honolulu was the site of Japanese invasion in America on December 7, 1941. With the only deep-water naval base given a historic landmark status, today Pearl Harbor is also the home of the US Pacific Fleet.

Oahu’s North Shore

Providing a backdrop of white-capped waves, sits the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii. A surfer's paradise during the winter season, the opportunity to catch the perfect wave is an easy task along the seven miles of beaches on the North Shore. Full of luxury resorts and condos, one way to eat like a local is to have a Hawaiian Shaved Ice flavored with tropical syrups and similar to a snow cone.

Kilohana Plantation

Translated as not to be surpassed, the Kilohana Plantation on Kauai offers a glimpse into the extravagance of this property built in the 1930's and the surrounding grounds. Besides the Tudor-style plantation estate, guests today can travel around the 105 acres on the Plantation Railway train with the conductor-narrated 40 minute ride, feed the wild pigs, goats and sheep or sample some local flavor at the Koloa Rum Company.

Waimea Canyon

Nicknamed "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific," Waimea Canyon is found on Kauai's West side. While not the same size or scale as the Grand Canyon, it stretches for 14 miles, is over one mile wide and over 3600' deep. Sweeping vistas and natural beauty make this a highlight on Kauai.

Kauai Coffee Estate

At the largest coffee farm in the U.S., guests are welcome to enjoy and learn about the 100% Hawaiian coffee at Kauai Coffee Company. Walk amongst the coffee trees and learn about the growing, harvesting and roasting process. Free samples are offered in numerous flavors include the Kauai Blue Mountain, robust Peaberry and Hawaii-inspired flavored coffees such as Macadamia and Coconut at the Visitors Centre and Gift Shop.

Iao Valley

Located in central Maui is the National Park of Iao Valley. As part of the "Valley Island," this 4,000-acre park is lush and green with historic significance for the unification of the islands by King Kamehameha.

Polynesian Luau

As a way to commemorate a milestone, event or historic victory, the Luau began as a celebration with food and entertainment. Luau is the Hawaiian name for the Taro Leaf and today is represented in the common side dish of Poi (taro root starch) served alongside the succulent earth-oven-roasted Kalua pig. Traditional music and dance in the form of the hula and Samoan fire dance delight all participants as the stars begin twinkling in the sky.
