Day 6 / Lofthus > BergenJourney to Norway’s second largest city, the Hanseatic fishing port of Bergen. One of the prettiest cities in Norway, Bergen dates back to the 12th century. Day 7 / BergenToday you’ll explore Bergen and drive to Troldhaugen, the former home of Edvard Grieg, Norway’s greatest composer.Freechoice: Journey 320 metres up the funicular railway to Mt. Floien for a spectacular view of the city and fjord. Day 8 / BalestrandTravel by train from Bergen to Myrdal where you’ll transfer to the world-famous Flåm Railway. Amid spectacular scenery and roaring waterfalls you’ll find the picturesque village of Flåm where you’ll take a gorgeous fjord cruise to Balestrand. Day 9 / GeirangerTravel alongside mountains that boast the largest icefield in continental Europe, Jostedalsbreen, which covers an incredible 487 square kilometres.EnrichToday you’ll visit one of the most photographed and impressive arms of the icefield, Briksdalsbreen, and have a truly Norwegian experience. Be taken by ‘trollcar’ up the glacier for a spectacular view of the glacier and magnificent waterfall.Continue via Stryn to Dalsnibba for unforgettable views of Geiranger Fjord (weather permitting) before arriving at your hotel where you’ll enjoy two nights.
