Day 1 / Arrive Auckland

Your New Zealand journey begins in Auckland. Here, you will be met and transferred to your premium hotel. Accommodation: Rydges Auckland Hotel Meals: Dinner

Day 2 / Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua

Continue to the geothermal capital of Rotorua. Visit Te Puia, enjoy a guided tour of the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute and see Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. Accommodation: Two Nights: Rydges Rotorua Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 3 / Rotorua

Explore the Agrodome, with its sheep shearing demonstration, dog trials and animal nursery. Meals: Breakfast

Day 4 / Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington

Travel the Thermal Explorer Highway. Visit Lake Taupo and Huka Falls, then visit Wellington. Accommodation: Travelodge Hotel Wellington Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 / Wellington, Cook Strait, Christchurch

Cruise aboard the Interislander Ferry through Cook Strait and Marlborough and Queen Charlotte Sounds to Picton. Accommodation: Christchurch, Quality Hotel Elms Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 6 / Christchurch, Fox Glacier

Day 7 / Fox Glacier, Queenstown

Day 8 / Queenstown

With a day at leisure, perhaps choose from one of Travelmarvel’s exciting select experiences. These include a relaxing cruise to Walter Peak Station or a gondola ride to the top of Bob’s Peak for spectacular panoramic views over Queenstown. Day 9 / Queenstown, Milford Sound, Te Anau

Day 10 / Te Anau, Dunedin

Today you will journey through rolling Southland countryside before arriving in the city of Dunedin. Known as the ‘Edinburgh of the South’, Dunedin was planned in Scotland and still maintains its grand Victorian heritage which is very impressive. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour then head to the nearby hills to take an intriguing tour of Larnach Castle, which is New Zealand’s only castle. Day 11 / Dunedin, Mt Cook, Lake Tekapo
