Day 1 / Welcome to Darwin

After a sightseeing tour of the city, join your Travel Director for a Welcome Reception and dinner.

Day 2 / Darwin – Katherine

Travel south, stopping at the poignant Adelaide River War Cemetery. In Nitmiluk National Park, take a cruise along the spectacular Katherine Gorge.

Day 3 / Katherine – Kununurra

Watch the landscape transform as you journey into Western Australia. Pause at the historic Durack Homestead Museum, and later cruise the Ord River with its abundance of wildlife and experience a magical sunset.

Day 4 / Kununurra

Today you may choose an optional experience flight or a full-day 4WD tour of the Bungle Bungles. Or tour Kununurra with your Travel Director. Later, explore Mirima National Park. Dine this evening at a privately-hosted Be My Guest experience in the heart of Kununurra’s sandalwood plantations.

Day 5 / Kununurra – Emma Gorge

Tour an Ord River rum distillery before travelling on to the wildlife-rich Parry Lagoons (weather permitting). Continue to your safari-style tented cabins in the El Questro Wilderness Park.

Day 6 / El Questro Wilderness Park

Cruise on Chamberlain Gorge, a tropical waterhole fringed by soaring escarpments. This afternoon join your Travel Director for a challenging hike to Emma Gorge.

Day 7 / Emma Gorge – Halls Creek

Tour the Argyle Diamond Mine with a local Indigenous guide, then continue south to the historic town of Halls Creek on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert.

Day 8 / Halls Creek – Fitzroy Crossing

Travel to remote Fitzroy Crossing today, stopping en route at a local art gallery with an opportunity to meet Indigenous artists. This afternoon, cruise through magnificent Geikie Gorge.

Day 9 / Fitzroy Crossing – Broome

Settle in for a drive to Broome. Enjoy a city tour before relaxing with a drink while the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

Day 10 / Broome Free Time

Today is yours to explore this tropical hideaway. Perhaps enjoy a stroll and the sunset over pristine Cable Beach.

Day 11 / Broome – Port Hedland

The Pilbara region awaits you. Skirt the edge of the Great Sandy Desert on your way to Port Hedland.

Day 12 / Port Hedland – Karijini National Park

Explore Karijini National Park, with its spectacular gorges and waterfalls. Pause at Fortescue Falls. Stay tonight in safari style eco-tents.

Day 13 / Karijini National Park – Karratha

Enjoy time at leisure before travelling to Tom Price for a tour of Rio Tinto’s massive open-cut iron-ore mine.

Day 14 / Karratha – Exmouth

Today’s journey takes you to Exmouth. After a short tour on arrival, settle in to your resort just metres from the blue waters of beautiful Exmouth Gulf.

Day 15 / Exmouth Free Time

Explore the fascinating Exmouth area at your leisure. Enjoy an optional experience or relax by the hotel pool overlooking the Gulf.

Day 16 / Exmouth – Carnarvon

Cruise the turquoise waters of Ningaloo Reef at Coral Bay in a glass-bottomed boat. Then journey south to Carnarvon, and visit the town’s interactive Space and Technology Museum.

Day 17 / Carnarvon – Monkey Mia

Travel to Hamelin Pool to see a unique colony of ancient stromatolites, and Shell Beach, formed from billions of tiny white shells. Continue to the pristine blue waters of Monkey Mia.

Day 18 / Monkey Mia Included Choice

Watch as the famed Monkey Mia dolphins swim into shore to be fed. Your Included Choice sightseeing experience offers an evening Indigenous experience or a relaxing bay cruise.

Day 19 / Monkey Mia – Geraldton

Venture into Kalbarri National Park to the Murchison River Gorge. During wildflower season the Park is alive with blooms. Later, explore Geraldton and visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial.

Day 20 / Geraldton – Perth

Visit the mystical Pinnacles, then continue to Yanchep National Park for a fascinating Aboriginal Cultural Experience. In Perth, join your Travel Director for a Farewell Dinner.

Day 21 / Farewell from Perth
