Day 1 / Welcome to Perth

Your adventure begins with an orientation tour of Perth. This evening, get to know your Travel Director at a Welcome Reception and dinner.

Day 2 / Perth – Geraldton

Travel north to Yanchep National Park for an Aboriginal Cultural Experience. Continue to Nambung National Park, home of the Pinnacles. In Geraldton, see the evocative HMAS Sydney Memorial.

Day 3 / Geraldton – Monkey Mia

The wildflower collection in Western Australia is the largest on Earth and you’ll have the chance to admire some of them on your way to the blue waters and pristine beaches of Monkey Mia.

Day 4 / Monkey Mia Included Choice

After breakfast, watch as the famous Monkey Mia dolphins swim into shore to be fed. Later today, your Included Choice sightseeing experience offers an evening Indigenous experience or a relaxing sunset cruise.

Day 5 / Monkey Mia – Carnarvon

At Hamelin Pool, view a colony of stromatolites, the earliest record of life on earth. Close by is Shell Beach, formed from billions of tiny cockle shells. Journey north to Carnarvon, visiting the town’s Space and Technology Museum.

Day 6 / Carnarvon – Exmouth

Travel to Exmouth and Cape Range National Park. Visit Coral Bay and cruise on Ningaloo Reef in a glass-bottomed boat.

Day 7 / Exmouth Free Time

Explore the fascinating Exmouth area at your leisure. Enjoy an optional experience or relax by the hotel pool overlooking the Gulf.

Day 8 / Exmouth – Karratha

Journey north to the Pilbara region, known for its rich cultural heritage and vast mineral deposits.

Day 9 / Karratha – Karijini

Enjoy a tour of Rio Tinto’s massive open-cut iron-ore mine before journeying into the depths of Karijini National Park. Watch the sun set from the deck of your safari-style eco-tent.

Day 10 / Karijini – Port Hedland

Explore more of Karijini, whose spectacular gorges, waterfalls and rock-pools provide a striking contrast to the stark red landscape of the Pilbara. Continue to Port Hedland.

Day 11 / Port Hedland – Broome

Skirt the fringes of the Great Sandy Desert as you travel to Broome.

Day 12 / Broome Free Time

Today is all yours to explore this tropical hideaway. Perhaps enjoy a leisurely stroll along the pristine sands of Cable Beach.

Day 13 / Broome – Fitzroy Crossing

Tour Broome before travelling to Geikie Gorge for a cruise on its tranquil waters.

Day 14 / Fitzroy Crossing – Halls Creek

As you cross vast outback landscapes, stop at an art gallery for the chance to meet Indigenous artists.

Day 15 / Halls Creek – Emma Gorge

Visit the Argyle Diamond Mine with a local Indigenous guide. Drive on to your El Questro accommodation at the foot of the Cockburn Ranges.

Day 16 / El Questro Wilderness Park

Awake to the calls of native birds, then cruise on Chamberlain Gorge, an immense waterhole fringed by soaring escarpments.

Day 17 / Emma Gorge – Kununurra

Travel on to Kununurra. Take a guided tour of the Hoochery Distillery and visit the historic Durack Homestead Museum. Later cruise the Ord River, rich with native wildlife.

Day 18 / Kununurra

Today you may choose an optional experience scenic flight or a full-day 4WD tour of the Bungle Bungles. Or tour Kununurra with your Travel Director. Visit Mirima National Park, home to a vast array of wildlife. Enjoy a privatelyhosted Be My Guest dinner in the heart of Kununurra’s sandalwood plantations.

Day 19 / Kununurra – Katherine

Journey to Katherine to meet entertaining musician and horseman Tom Curtain and gain a unique insight into life on an outback cattle station.

Day 20 / Katherine – Darwin

Cruise spectacular Katherine Gorge and learn about its traditional owners, the Jawoyn people. Then travel the Stuart Highway to Darwin and take a city sights tour before joining your Travel Director for a Farewell Dinner.

Day 21 / Farewell from Darwin

Say farewell to your fellow travellers when your holiday comes to an end after breakfast.
